Terms of Use

The rules for using our website and our shipping services.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Please read these terms carefully. They explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

1. Accepting these terms

By using this website, or by booking a shipment with MmEx Express Limited ("MmEx", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

2. Our services

We provide shipping and logistics services, including documents, parcels and cargo by air, road and sea, together with tracking, price estimates and customer support. The services available depend on the route, the weight and the type of goods.

3. Using this website

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:

4. Prices and estimates

The rate calculator and any quote shown on the website are estimates. The final price, and the delivery date, are confirmed when you book. A price can change if the details you gave us (such as the weight, size or addresses) turn out to be different, or if extra charges apply, such as fuel, insurance, customs or remote-area charges.

Custom quotes are valid only for the period stated in the quote.

5. Your shipments

When you send a shipment, you confirm that:

We may refuse, hold or return a shipment that breaks these rules or the law.

Items we do not carry: cash, bank notes and negotiable instruments; precious metals and stones; firearms, ammunition, weapons and their parts; explosives, fireworks and flammable or compressed gases; radioactive, toxic, infectious or other dangerous goods; illegal drugs and controlled substances; counterfeit goods; live animals; human remains; and anything else that the law of the origin, transit or destination country forbids.

Items we carry only with prior written approval: batteries (including those fitted inside devices), perfumes and other liquids, food and plant products, medicines, and goods that need a licence or permit. Please contact us before you book.

6. Tracking information

Tracking updates show the latest information we have. They can be delayed and are not a promise of a delivery time. Delivery dates are estimates unless we have confirmed them in writing.

7. Customs, duties and taxes

For international shipments, customs duties, taxes and fees may apply in the destination country. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the person receiving the shipment, or the person who booked it, is responsible for paying them. If a charge is raised after the shipment has left our hands, we will tell the person responsible and, where it is paid on their behalf, may ask them to repay us before the shipment is released or in addition to the price. Delays caused by customs checks, missing documents or unpaid charges are not delays by us.

8. Loss, damage and delay

We take care of your shipment, and we are sorry if something goes wrong. If a shipment is lost or damaged, you can make a claim by contacting us with your tracking ID and a description of what happened, with photos if you have them.

Claim deadlines. Please report visible damage on delivery, or as soon as you find it. Written claims for damage or partial loss must reach us within 14 days of delivery. Claims for a shipment that did not arrive must reach us within 30 days of the booking date. Please keep the goods and packaging so that they can be inspected.

Our responsibility. Unless you add insurance, our liability for loss or damage to a shipment is limited to the actual value of the goods, up to a maximum of US$100 per shipment. Our liability for delay is limited to a refund of the shipping charge, and only where the delay was caused by us.

Insurance. If you add insurance when you book, the shipment is covered up to the declared value you entered, up to US$50,000 per package. The insurance charge is shown in your price before you pay. The declared value must be the real value of the goods; a false declaration can make a claim invalid.

What is not covered. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by wrong or incomplete information, poor packing, the nature of the goods (for example, perishable or fragile items that are not packed for transport), customs or government action, strikes, severe weather or other events outside our control, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited, including our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We will never ask for your password.

10. Our content

The website, including its text, design, logos and images, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may view it and print pages for your own use, but you may not copy, change or reuse it for other purposes without our written permission.

11. Privacy and cookies

How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice, and how we use browser storage is explained on our Cookie Settings page.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. If you keep using the website or our services after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking to each other will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep any rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
